Rega is celebrating its 50th anniversary by announcing the Rega Planar 3 50th Anniversary Edition. A turntable package was developed to maximise the performance of a Planar 3.
Available in the new hugely popular walnut effect finish the 50th-anniversary Planar 3 is supplied with a hand-tuned Neo PSU MK2 and the handmade Rega Exact moving magnet cartridge factory fitted. The drive system uses Rega’s reference drive belt and a custom CNC’d aluminium drive pulley (as used on Planar 6) to deliver the best performance and accuracy. The anniversary Edition is finished off with a custom aluminium lid and plinth badge and a smoked dustcover.

- Neo Mk2 PSU included. Hand-tuned to the motor to accurately set speed and minimise vibration (same method as used on the PL6 & PL8).
