The Rotel DX-5 is a compact personal audio integrated amplifier that blends high performance with a sleek, modern design. Built around a precision Class AB amplifier and powered by Rotel’s in-house wound high-current toroidal transformer, it delivers 33 watts per channel into 4 ohms (25 watts into 8 ohms) with impressive control and clarity.
At its core is the premium ESS ES9039Q2M DAC, producing detailed, high-resolution audio with a wide and immersive soundstage. The DX-5 supports a wide range of sources, including PC-USB (32-bit/384kHz PCM, DSD 4x), coaxial and optical inputs (24-bit/192kHz), aptX™ HD and AAC Bluetooth streaming, RCA analogue connections, and HDMI ARC with CEC. A dedicated subwoofer output adds flexibility for larger setups.
A full-colour TFT display, 6.35 mm headphone jack, and an easy-to-use remote control complete the package, making the DX-5 a versatile option for both serious music listening and modern home entertainment systems.
