Building on the success of the acclaimed K Series floor-standing loudspeakers, the ProAc K1 has been developed to bring the same signature performance to a stand-mounted design. After extensive research and careful refinement, the K1 has been engineered to deliver the openness, detail and musicality the K Series is known for, in a more compact and versatile form.
The K1 features ProAc’s specialist Kevlar cone driver paired with the proven ribbon tweeter used throughout the K Series range. Both the cabinet and drive units have been carefully adapted to suit a stand-mounted enclosure, ensuring the speaker performs at its best in smaller spaces while still delivering a full-range, highly engaging sound.
Despite its compact cabinet, the K1 produces an impressively deep and controlled bass response, complemented by the beautifully natural midrange that has become a hallmark of the K Series. The soundstage is expansive and precise, with an open, almost electrostatic-like midband and excellent bass accuracy, making the K1 a remarkably capable stand-mounted loudspeaker.
The cabinet incorporates ProAc’s distinctive K Series design with vent porting, and a dedicated K1 stand is available separately to optimise performance and stability, helping the speaker perform to its full potential.
